Wood Exteriors Color and grain variations are natural characteristics in authentic wood surfaces. Since no trees are exactly alike, these variations are evident in every piece of wood. Natural variations are blended somewhat by the application of toners and stains. These finish applications are not designed to eliminate, but to enhance the charm and unique characteristics of the natural wood. General Information
Initial Cleaning After Installation To remove dust, use a soft, lint-free cotton cloth to wipe down all exterior and interior surfaces. Basic Cleaning
Wipe Spills Promptly Wipe up spills and water spots immediately with a lint-free cotton cloth so moisture is not absorbed into the cabinetry. Check the areas around the sink and dishwasher to make sure water and detergents do not dry on the cabinet surface. Furniture Treatment To maintain the beauty of your cabinets, care for them as you would any piece of fine furniture. The state-of-the-art, cured finish does not require wax. However, if you choose to apply a cleaner/wax, Van Arbour Design has an approved product available for such occasions. Contact us for more information. |
